Aquamarine is a story written my Alice Hoffman in 2001 (I said the wrong year in the presentation). It is a more modern version of The Little Mermaid. It is for an older audience, specifically for young adults. The story centers around two young girls that are navigating difficult changes in their life. They live near the beach and one day they discovered a mermaid named Aquamarine. And the story goes on…..
